It is easy to use, I love it, I had only one issue with it.

If I want to convert a larger text into QR code then the image is blurry, no QR reader can read it.

Even if I save the QR code as an image, it is the same.

Changing the QR code size to automatic doesn't work.

Setting it explicitly to 1000 pixel is bugous, the QR code is not completely visible and it won't be larger than 420 pixels anyway, whatever size you adjust.

I think "automatic" should mean a minimum size of, say, 100 pixels and pick an appropriate size so that every pixel is visible.

Otherwise, it is a very handy little tool, thank you for it.

From what I understand, you are having a problem with larger QR codes though.

I have to admit that the extension is not really tested and intended for big QR code contents and may not always work. It may even depend on your screen or browser size as there are limits on how big a popup window etc. can get.

If you continue to have problems with that, it would be very nice if you could report this bug on https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/issues/, so we can deal with it. Thanks.
We transparently track issues there, so everyone can follow the progress or add more information.

I hope this explanation helped and continue to have fun using the extension.

    Funciona justo como lo anuncia, permite generar códigos QR de cualquier pestaña, lo uso a menudo para pasarme pestañas de mi laptop a mi teléfono por ejemplo. Y lo mejor, sin tener que conectarme a un servidor externo.

    its cool but i WISH you could disable the stupid text pop-ups. they mess up the qr-code window geometry and add inconsistency

    Thanks for your rating. It's great to hear that you like the add-on.
    However, I see your point of not liking the random tips beings shown.

    I can reassure you the likelihood to see such a prompt is very low though and e.g. only shown after you have used the extension for some time and e.g. not shown again if you have dismissed it explicitly twice.

    As this add-on is open-source, you can also check it's source code at https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/blob/main/src/common/modules/data/Tips.js, if you are interested in the technical details or want to verify my claims here.
    Also notice there are other helpful tips that may occasionally been shown, but they are really kept to a minimum and many users do e.g. not know that they can use a hot key or help the extension by translating it.

    Pretty cool and usefull, crazy firefox dont have out of the box, BUT this extension would be perfect if the shortcut could be changed, personally I find Crtl+Shift+F10 difficult to remember.

    As you correctly noticed, you can access the extension with the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+F10 by default. This hotkey can already be modified in the Firefox add-on settings. See https://support.mozilla.org/kb/manage-extension-shortcuts-firefox for more information.
