от Пользователь Firefox 16531945, 6 лет назадIt looks great and works as advertised. However it bogs Firefox down *very* quickly. After install I found tabs taking forever to load, links would hang after clicking them, and some pages would completely freeze in transition for almost a full minute. Closing firefox, shutting any process left in the control panel down, and reopening it will resolve the issue for about 5 minutes, and then everything hangs again. I've found a lot of dark mode extensions do similar things, but this one was the worst, and fastest, to do it. Uninstalling the extension resolved every issue I had, and if you're having similar issues you can see it's firefox by opening the task manager, selecting more details, and viewing the memory usage of the app before and after removing or installing the extension.

- Оценено на 5 из 5от WilsonBorkowski, 2 дня назадThis extension is great. I had previously tried the Dark Mode by Bernard extension but was frustrated because it was either everything on or off. It was not easy to whitelist webpages and more often than not websites end up looking weird with dark mode applied to them. But this extension lets me set the site list to inverted listed only so by default it is off and only on for specific domains that I add. That's perfect for me because I would much rather add the few sites I actually want dark mode on than exclude every site where I don't like it.

A shame, since it's the only reason I have this addon and until now it was seamlessly functional. Messed with settings but the only thing that fixes it is turning it off entirely. Using a mac.

Sounds like a minor issue. But I'll often not realize that I'm in light mode on a site especially when I'm getting tired. I wont realize that my eyes are straining, and when I do, I think: Monitor brightness is low, so what could it be?
...Ohhh, right. Dark Reader isn't doing anything again. Sigh
Anyways, is it really true that this addon is responsible for memory leaks? extensions are sometimes hounded by baseless accusations of malware and stuff, but its happening more and more often that extensions actually are the culprit behind browser performance issues - Оценено на 4 из 5от hoangkamam, 19 дней назадsome sites with cloudflare protection can't verify human when Dark reader is on.
