I recommend everyone to avoid this add-on or remove it if you have installed it. Was great for the 2 or so years that I had it, until my browser was hijacked. Removed Adblock Plus and the hijacker disappeared. There's definitely some shady business going on with this add-on.

hmmm. That sounds quite odd. I assure you , we are not in the hijacking business at all. In fact we are on the exact opposite side of that business. We would be happy to investigate further, there are also a few copy cats out there. Either way, if you wish to isolate further we would be happy to assist. This will remain a 1 star until ABP decides to stop interrupting my mornings with pop-up ads. Other ad blockers have enough common sense not to CAUSE THEIR OWN POP-UP ADS. When good ad blockers like uBlock Origin update, they do it quietly without bothering the user. The people at ABP thought you wouldn't mind annoying adverts if it was from them. Advertising to me a product I already have installed is a sure sign these people do not respect users time.

I like the ads blocking. I wish it had a way to actively save the whitelist. I keep having to re whitelist things, with an import / export of the config files.

We appreciate your feedback. We use a system called smart allowlisting: if you do not visit a website that you have allowlisted within 7 days, it gets automatically removed from your allowlisted websites. If you visit it in 7 days, it will get renewed for another 7 days.

Работает, наверно, лучше всех среди бесплатных адблоков. Иногда на некоторых сайтах проскакивает реклама, но ее можно зарепортить и ее через какое то время убирают

it says it blocks ads on Yahoo Mail, but it doesn't. Nor on Yahoo.com. at least not on my computer.
