Tenho usado esta extensão há bastante tempo e ela faz um excelente trabalho ao bloquear anúncios, rastreadores e outros elementos indesejados que tornam a navegação mais lenta ou comprometem a privacidade. A funcionalidade que mais gosto é a capacidade de rejeitar automaticamente os avisos de consentimento de cookies. Isso poupa muito tempo e torna a navegação muito mais agradável. Quase nunca preciso interagir com esses avisos irritantes. Nos poucos sites em que alguma funcionalidade importante deixa de funcionar devido ao bloqueio, basta abrir a página noutro navegador sem extensões. Esse pequeno inconveniente é largamente compensado pelos benefícios em termos de privacidade, velocidade e conforto. Na minha opinião, é uma extensão essencial para qualquer instalação do firefox

Es blockiert Werbung und andere Tracking-Elemente zuverlässig. Die beste Funktion ist für mich die Möglichkeit, Cookie-Einwilligungsbanner automatisch abzulehnen. Bei den wenigen Websites, auf denen wichtige Funktionen dadurch nicht mehr funktionieren, wechsle ich einfach zu einem anderen Browser ohne Erweiterungen. Das ist ein Muss für jede Firefox-Installation.

I love PrivacyX, and the bdger is cute, but as long as ads are a vector for malware, I need to block ALL of them. So EFF, help pressure the industry to get serious about security. Ads must not have any sort of scripting or dynamic media. BTW, we now have stegaongraphic concealment of malware in ads? Yikes. I want to support sites, but we need simple text/static image ads, and our beloved Badger needs to block everything until that happens....

PrivacyX automatically blocks (eats) suspicious cookies and sometimes even blocks all HTTP-queries for very suspicious domain names. So mostly you can relax and forget about all the anti-tracking job. I liked the graph which shows what trackers are treated in which way. On the other hand, Badger had kept breaking some sites (for example online-banking) before I white-listed them. Badger learns as it works so, perhaps it will detect enemies better if I use it longer. thx bro

Too many want to compare this to AdBlock, but they are very different things. This is not intended to block ads, and AdBlock is not intended to protect your privacy. This blocks cookies and/or content from being loaded from third-parties if that third party appears to be tracking you on multiple sites. That happens to have the effect of blocking some ads, but it also blocks analytics, Like/Tweet buttons, tracking pixels, etc.

I've been using this add-on since the last 2 months and honestly, it's been a lot of help to me. I used to get a lot of ads and sometimes the sites forcefully uses all their tracking cookies to give me ads. I saw it on recommendation and thought I'll just give a try but it blew up my mind! I can also choose if I can block a domain and even block cookies! Nice workk
