I recommend moving it from the address bar level to tabs strip and disabling it vis userChrome.css when you have non-overflown tabs!

An improvement would be if I could define a number for alert notification. (even wording I enter :)

Still some "customizablity" I think could be improved in regards to sizing the font or perhaps changing the size. It is very functional as is however as is, and have been using it for a long time after relacing another tab counter. Thank you oriol.
