    used this for a long old while, at the very least a decade, but now, not only with it being ineffective on youtube but also in general, there may be better alternatives out there like Ublock origin

    We're aware that YouTube has been intermittently testing strategies to show either ads or their anti-adblocking wall. However, in some cases we've found that your settings might have changed which is why ads are suddenly appearing.     We are using a new strategy to handle YouTube's anti-ad blocking warning. When we detect YouTube's notification, we will automatically pause AdBlock so you can continue watching without disruption. The pause is temporary so if you leave YouTube and return later, it will remain unpaused until the warning is detected again. We believe YouTube will only attempt to show you the wall for a day or two and then we can go back to blocking ads as normal.

    Hello everyone. Recently, YouTube has been accessing the Adblock Plus plugin management without my permission, it disables Adblock Plus on the YouTube page and reloads the YouTube page.     Привет всем. youtube в последнее время без моего разрешеничя имеет доступ к управлению плагином adblock-plus, отключает adblock-plus на сранице youtube и перезагружает страницу youtube. можно как то это паравить? я люблю сам что-то делать . так я знаю, что я делаю и для чего.     It's pretty good. It doesn't block ads on YouTube, but I use an ad-free YouTube client called FreeTube anyway. Thanks to the developers for this add-on. ☺
