    I using Toggle Referrer since long time.
    But new, since a few days, is the behavior that embeded YouTube Videos on websites will not work any longer until the Referrer is off.
    Maybe you have an idea for some piece of code to put into those embeded Youtube Iframes, that they still will run while User have Tools like Toggle Referrer on.

    Simple but functional, does exactly what it says, can't ask for more really. I wish the author would do an equivalent "on/off button" add-on for the dom.storage setting, especially as more and more sites annoyingly use local storage but I refuse to have it turned on permanently for obvious privacy reasons.

    If I am using the spoofer, who is listed as the referrer? Can I alter who the referrer is listed as. For example, can i make it look like I linked from Bing? Also, if I do not use the spoofer, will it appear as though I went to the website directly, or will it indicate that I blocked the website from receiving the referrer information?

    The "spoofer" is *only* for known problematic websites. The rules are visible here:
    https://github.com/M-Reimer/togglereferrer/blob/master/spoofing.js#L34
    If you come across some website which does not work with Referrer disabled, then you may open an Issue here:
    https://github.com/M-Reimer/togglereferrer/issues
    describing which website this is.

    The goal of the "spoofer" is not to spoof random Referrer values but to make websites work well even without a valid referrer. The idea is to spoof just as much referrer as needed to make the website happy.

    Sehr nützlich und einfach zu handhaben. Mtks Manuel.
    Vorschlag (falls nicht zu kompliziert zu programmieren): Möglichkeit, Seiten die den Referrer benötigen, speichern zu können, damit das Addon den Referrer bei Bedarf automatisch ein- und ausschalten könnte.

    Dies ist mit der genutzten Firefox-Schnittstelle leider nicht möglich. Die kennt nur "an" und "aus".

    Update: Aktuelle Versionen haben eine optionale Spoofing-Funktion die (immer noch ohne einen "realen" Referrer zu senden) problematische Webseiten zum Funktionieren "überredet".
