    Does exactly what it says. The only issue I've encountered is that sometimes in the search results page it doesn't work for a few of the results (with no clear pattern). I am using several other youtube related extensions though, so that may be the reason.

    I'd prefer if there was an option to just show the date, since I don't really need to know the exact time, but this is still a huge improvement over the usual vague timestamps.

    Good, but it doesn't work on mobile page. So I have to switch to the desktop page. Can you support mobile pages as well?

    I think I wrote it a little confusingly, so explain further. It works on 'mobile', but not on 'mobile pages'. Like m.youtube.com. Thank you.

    Hm weird last time I checked I remembered it working on mobile. I'll check that out later. Before that, do you have any extensions installed? fyi, I've been busy recently though so it might take a bit.

    Works perfectly - it was so frustrating not knowing when a video was made or seeing a "1 year ago" when the video was actually made 2 years ago. As a wishlist, I would love to choose the format that the date is shown - e.g. "03 November 2023" vs "11/03/2023". So far this is compatible with Enhancer for YouTube, YouTube Shorts Block, SponsorBlock, and Return YouTube Dislike, which is awesome.

    I have a working idea here would you be able to provide feedback on whether this would work for you or you would want to see any changes to the system for changing how dates are overriden?

    btw I'm going to avoid adding libraries for now to keep the extension easy to read through, verify yourself, and lightweight, but I can if the people requesting this feature think it'd be something worth adding.

    Works instantly & flawlessly. I just wish there was an option to toggle between showing the upload date in US time format (mm/dd/yy) and (dd/mm/yy) format. I'm very hopeful to see that the add-on was updated as recent as Oct 2024, so it's still actively being maintained. Maybe there's a chance the developer can see this and make it happen.

    I have control panel for YT, return dislike and quality settings. Works fine. Have some confidence.

    Right now it's using the default time locale and format that everything else on your device is using so you can change it if you change your default.
    Are you talking about custom locale/format as in switching to, for example, a different country's locale/format or creating your own?

    Currently, the exact release date doesn't show on (except few videos) channel's search result page.

    I just added support for exact date on Youtube videos that are on the homepage of a Youtube channel in the latest version (1.0.2)
