    This addon works as a shortcut to a webpage when clicked. Nothing else. It does not show amount of unread email in gmail like it's chrome counterpart does.

    the whole point of the chrome original is to see if I have unread mail. this port only has a static icon, it does the same thing as a bookmark would.
