I had a shitload of tabs, that was the idea to get something like the old tab groups. I just started sorting out, and wanted to check the new group. When I changed back, it started to load all of my tabs, filling the memory. It wasn't fun.

Neat and convenient, a good alternative for legacy Tab Groups.

great thanks to prolongate Tabs group! It's so useful! But there is a big inconvenient for me with this version : when I change of group all my new tabs are refresh... I don't want that at all...

Great replacement for the legendary "Tab groups" . Working as intended, the only inconvenience being it loads all the tabs at once, instead of only the active one.

It brings back old tab groups extension that doesn't work on Firefox Quantum. However needs some improvements. I like working with lots of tabs (currently I have nearly 150 tabs.) When I change first group that has all this tabs, Firefox is running %134 CPU on Ubuntu 16.04. I hope, you can fix that performance problems.

Пока что лучший аналог Tab groups! Про минусы API с перезагрузкой всех вкладок при смене группы понял, буду ждать изменений. Еще бы хотелось увидеть возможность управлять группами в окне интерфейса как в Tab Groups. Есть возможность реализовать подобное? Ну, и русский в настройках тоже бы не помешал.
Но в любом случае спасибо, не переходил на Квантум только из-за Tab groups, теперь увидел свет в конце тоннеля!

Nice Replacement. Thank you! Importing groups from old "Tab Groups" gave error (do not remember) but groups were loaded after browser restart. Only issue: some tabs were multiple. So I have to delete them manually...
I give 5 stars because it seems that functionality of ald Add-On will be established soon :) Especially sort groups via drag&drop would be nice instead of "move up/down".
One question: my system crashed and after restart all tab groups were gone :( How to backup groups?

In general, I like it -- but there's one drawback. As others have noted, every time you switch to a new group. the tabs in that group reload. It slows everything and is pretty annoying. Also, it would be great if it were possible to rename each group.

Juste une suggestion : quand on ouvre un groupe, ça serait bien que tous les onglets ne se chargent pas en même temps. S'ils sont nombreux, ça fait vraiment ramer le Firefox voir le PC entier. Seul l'onglet courant pourrait se charger.

Just one suggestion: when you open a group, it would be nice if not all tabs load at the same time. If there are a lot of them, it really freeze Firefox and the whole computer. Only the current tab could load.

Reloading tabs is extremely painful when you have groups of 50+ tabs... This is the main issue with any tab group add-on that needs to be addressed I think. If opening a group means loading all tabs then this isn't a good option for my needs and I assume a great number of people.

1) Add pls not LOADed tabs, when i open group any groups. i wanna open group but don't wanna reload all tabs in this group.

2) Do all tabs in cache....some like....all groups load once...and i dont need reload ALL tab in ALL group again and again

This is so far the best replacement of the older Tab Groups. Very important for me that it allows the music to continue to play when switching from one group to the other.
I see a lot of remarks that this not works.
But , I have opened Spotify web player, in a tab in one group and "pin it"
open the next group, make a new tab with spotify and pin it.
that for every group, such each group has a pin tab with your music player
Now,when switching between groups, the music will nicely continue to play,even without a hick-up.

I know its not your fault, that Firefox 57 can not hide tabs, but without it its not compareable to the known "tab group" feature. Expl: With this close/reload of all tabs i loose all the states of all open pages and switching between groups needs a lot of time. I'm a librarian and I have to put in a few hours on the virtual reference desk. We use RefChat. When I need to move to another tab group i get a message asking if I want to leave or stay on the page. If I choose leave it logs me out of RefChat. If I choose Stay it opens another instance of RefChat on the new tab group. It does the same thing with our Help Desk software. I'm using Firefox 57.0.

Love this add-on...I can't live without it...
