I will still put all tabs in sleep mode. I'd like the unused once to be but to sleep after X time, that way they tabs to have to always re-load each time I switch back and forth.

I'd like my tab to sleep after X minutes without me coming back to it. To allow me to go back and forth without constantly reloading, example: if I come back to this tab after leaving it in less than a minute, don't put it in sleep mode. - Vlerësuar me 2 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga 14675327 përdoruesi Firefox-i, 2 vite më parëunfortunately too few setting options or
the setting options offered do little to change the behavior - Vlerësuar me 2 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga Aaron, 4 vite më parëI grabbed this addon when I saw FF constantly eating up bandwidth when I'm not using it. The good is that this addon solved that issue. The bad is that the timer does not reset itself to the user-defined interval, so the timer is a pointless feature. The ugly is that disabling the addon triggers every tab to reload; that simply should not happen.
Almost but not quite usable.
EDIT: Was looking for a builtin FF setting but instead found Auto Tab Discard. It offers more options and just works. - Vlerësuar me 2 yje nga 5 të mundshëmnga bosla, 5 vite më parë

It only works if I set it for 0 minutes, but then all my tabs are put to sleep immediately and I didn't want that. I'm using Firefox for Ubuntu Linux (latest version 66.0.3).
