    Traurig das Tampermonkey downgradet werden muss damit Tampermonkey nicht zwangsweise die Tabumgebungen in Firefox aktiviert. Als User wünsche ich die Tabumgebungen zu deaktivieren weil ich keine Verwendung dafür habe. Für Tampermonkey habe ich die automatischen Updates deaktiviert sonst habe ich ja am nächsten Tag das Problem wieder. Ich lasse die automatischen Updates so lange deaktiviert bis dieses Problem gelöst ist.

    De temps en temps cela ralentit considérablement ma vitesse de connexion. Je sais pas pourquoi, mais j'ai l'impression que ça fait des GROS trucs en arrière-plan pour que ça fasse ralentir comme ça.

    Tampermonkey itself doesn't cause any connection traffic other than a few update checks. Maybe a script you installed is causing this? Otherwise please file a bug report at https://github.com/Tampermonkey/tampermonkey/issues

    Yes, you can install scripts as usual.

    > How to have analytics off?

    Anonymous statistics are disabled by default. You have to manually switch it on if wanted.

    5.00 works with Waterfox G5.1.12 whereas 5.01 does not. 5.01 shows a spinning symbol when it is left clicked and gets no where, plus it won't install any scripts. I uninstalled 5.01 and installed 5.00 and could then install scripts and it all functions.

    I had similar problems with a version I was using 7 years ago where that would not work at all. It's fine if you can find a version that actually works but not if you cannot. Auto updates could break the extension for some browsers even though it is supposed to be compatible.

    can confirm that memory leaks (eats all free memory - up to 50gb ram for 3h), high cpu usage on v.5.
    Also pages do not open in new tabs the first time
    "Modify existing content security policy"=off, "Never remember history"=off, private=off

    Please report an issue at GitHub and explain what you're doing while this happens. I double checked the code, used Firefox many hours and can't reproduce. Thanks.

    After I updated tampermonkey to 5.0, it's eating my CPU and leaking memory. Had to rollback to 4.19 (Firefox 120.0.1 64-bit)

    Do you have the "Never remember history" or "permanent private browsing" mode enabled?

    Latest update causes FF to consume 30-90% CPU and eating more and more RAM, that caused lags and in the end full unresponsive.

    P.S. No enabled "Never remember history" or "permanent private browsing".
