Suggestion/Comment/Idea - that was actually removed from Firefox over a decade ago 😡💢
When saving passwords was new, there was a manual override for difficult sites. On the password field, use Ctrl+Enter or Shift+Enter, and it would forcibly save. When you hit "Save password" nothing happens at all.Utvecklarens svar

This is because Firefox doesn't show the save dialog when you are in Private Mode.
Only if you are trying to change the existing password, that would work even in Private Mode.
I don't think this can be changed, I've tried to look for some workaround but I can't find any.
