- Betygsatt 1 av 5av kcgidw, för en månad sedanUnfortunately, slows Youtube in particular to a crawl, which makes it hard to recommend atm. I do hope this gets sorted out eventually because the concept is great.

We just tried to deploy a fix for youtube. Could you please check if it is still going? THanks! - Betygsatt 1 av 5av biggus_ivanus, för 2 månader sedancan confirm what another user mentioned - it basically makes youtube unusable, everything loads very slowly, nearly half a minute of waiting until the video plays when it normally takes about a second or less. any attempt to use the media controls, especially playing or pausing, are either completely unresponsive or take multiple seconds to register - again not an issue i used to have.
on top of all of this, the extension does not even do what it is meant to. it fails to detect the cookie pop-up even though the extension is enabled for the website.
this was incredibly frustrating to deal with because i (mistakenly) assumed the issue was coming from some other settings i changed in the about:config page. after resetting my profile and loading in a configured one with most of my settings, i soon figured out that the issue was super agent.
at the current state, I cannot recommend it at all, at least for firefox 140.0b9.Utvecklarens svar
postad för en månad sedanHi Biggus, we are having trouble replicate this. I am a firefox user myself. Version 139.0.4 , and youtube works absolutely fine. Could you email me at hello@super-agent.com? Thanks! Utvecklarens svar
postad för 2 månader sedanHi Juha,
Can you report those sites so we can add them? Thanks- Betygsatt 1 av 5av kon, för 2 månader sedanDoesn't work on basic websites like Bing. Most likely this is malware as the source code doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

If you're going to anonymously do something you DON'T need a my email to set up an account.
You're either doing this as a public service or you're hiding something nefarious.
Just NO!
And there is it is - the first THREE a day are free after that, they're dipping in your pocket.
And this isn't a difficult thing to implement if the community built a database these annoying, non-standard dodges around the idiotic EU Cookie law. This is what happens when bureaucrats design a law without actually consulting with privacy experts (or any experts in regards of this example).
---- EDIT
"Hi, The extension is free for Firefox, it also doesn't require an email to set up. So this review simply makes no sense whatsoever."
That right... allow me to QUOTE the FAQ [URL REMOVED] highlight mine.
" We don’t store any personal data except for your *e-mail address* which we use only to verify your account and to synchronize your preferences across devices.
(So it does need an email...)
AND
"Super Agent is free for the first 3 pop ups a day. The “unlimited” version costs 1.19$€ a month or 11,99$€ a year. A 29.99$€ forever option will be available soon."
So someone is telling fibs, I'm simply quoting from the developer's OWN SITE.
AND
"We don’t store any personal data *except for your e-mail address* which we use only to verify your account and to synchronize your preferences across devices. "
AND
"... [I]nformation may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer."
AND SO ON... Sure, this is boilerplate but it covers the company's rear, not ours.
And you don't need a central server to do this. Fingerprinting is quite sufficient to ID these Javascript devices, a central server is just a way to make sure we're "customers".
Three a day. Give me a break.Utvecklarens svar
postad för 10 månader sedanHi, The extension is free for Firefox, it also doesn't require an email to set up. So this review simply makes no sense whatsoever. - Betygsatt 1 av 5av orthdron, för ett år sedanSlows down your browser. Do not recommend. Specifically Youtube. Tried on fresh install, just this extension is messing up. The comment on other review about ublock origin is misleading. This particular extension is borked, no fault of anything else.
- Betygsatt 1 av 5av Firefox-användare 13588480, för ett år sedanEdit to address the developers' response: I can confirm that the performance hit mentioned below is NOT a conflict with uBlock Origin, as I made a point of disabling every extension I have, and individually reenabling them until I found the culprit. The performance issues were present with uBO still disabled, so I have to conclude that the fault does indeed lie with Super Agent. Not impressed.
THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
Had to uninstall as it made certain websites, and in particular YouTube, load like they're being powered by a netbook from circa 2010.
I'm also dubious at the prospect of sharing my data with a company, no matter how anonymised and altruistic, for the sake of preventing other companies from getting my data. It's just kicking the can down the road and doesn't eliminate the actual problem.
My recommendation? Just use a decent, preferably open source content blocker (eg uBlock Origin) and enable one of the built in "Cookie Notices" filter lists. Much more efficient, auditable, and doesn't involve sharing your data with a third party.Utvecklarens svar
postad för ett år sedanThe issue you mention is probably caused by a conflict with uBlock as it seems to be the common denominator from people who complained about it.
Regarding data. We don't collect any data and our source code is reviewed often by the Chrome store, Firefox, Opera and Appstore. Apple is specially strict when it comes to privacy so it would not recommend our app if it wasnt 100% safe. - Betygsatt 1 av 5av Firefox-användare 18548978, för ett år sedanIt basically bricked my firefox. Performance crawled to almost a halt. Even typing was super laggy. It's unfortunately not usable this way.

Francisco - Betygsatt 1 av 5av BlackDragonBE, för ett år sedanI was hopeful this would help me skip all those cookie banners. Instead, this add-on doesn't do anything. The icon hasn't been green once and I still get cookie banners on lots of websites. Just use uBlock Origin instead.

- Betygsatt 1 av 5av Anonymous, för 3 år sedanDoes nothing. I still see cookie popups in every site that I visit.

postad för 4 år sedanHi Fernman, could you give us an example of a website where it is not working? I believe there might be something setup incorrectly.
