It's ok. A lot of the IPs are various degrees of blacklisted/cause issues despite having a paid subscription, but at least they're stable with little downtime in the soon to be year I've used it. The biggest issue is that the company is trying to be cute about everything, with inane shit that pops up left and right. I need these people to understand that while it's their workplace and means a lot to them, it's a freaking VPN to the rest of us and we really just need it to do its thing and shut up about it. Mullvad does that a lot better, so we'll see how much I value browser-only VPN when my sub is up.

Плагин практически никогда не коннектится, хотя приложение на этом же ПК в этот же момент нормально работает.

2026-01-26 Extension login failed due to an ongoing INVALID CAPTCHA. Gary kept giving bogus answers that waste time.

2025-12-16 Extension login failed. Windscribe.com blocked my IP address (what's the point of a VPN company blocking a pooled CGNAT address? Why not just use IPv6 addresses?). Logging into windscribe.net (using the same credentials as the extension) works fine. Writing to support@windscribe.com, including the details, results in an automated response redirecting to Garry (the bot) and the Knowledge Base, which are hosted on windscribe.com and block my IP in the first place. Reddit? Why not point this out right away instead of having users waste their time? Using other reputable VPNs is much easier than this.

I had only that one show I used to watch 1x per week which was possible with windscribe..until now, I can't do it anymore, seems like the site blocked it. Very sad and disappointing :(

I wish I could set it to be inclusive in it's whitelisting, not exclusive. I mainly want to just use the desktop VPN, and only want to route a small subset of websites elsewhere.

I cannot login WTF

Please add protocol selection and "bypass blocking" from the desktop version. This extension does not work now. But Desktop App is working.

It works great but I don't like the fact that periodically it shows a "what's new" message on startup that I don't care to see that requires extra effort to close. This is just a stupid design choice that is sadly a commonality with modern software and even games. How about you send me your unsolicited messages through email instead that way I can at least have the power to block them?

I used to love this app. Now I'm annoyed with it. Most pages are not loaded when the app is turned on, so I keep having to switch it off. Moreover, each time, each time there is an update we have to reenter the credential and all the selected preferred locations, the likes I have set to watch TV from. That's an absolute pain when you pay a fair price for the use.
Is it so difficult to have them memorized on the account??

Since January 2nd, I have been unable to access the network since I started using VPN, and I have been able to use it normally before then.

Usually works fine, but shouldn't be necessary imho, and sometimes it resets with no apparent reason, forcing you to login and set your preferences again.

It's free, it works o.k. with a strong internet connection otherwise it will make your browser unusable no matter which server your on.

Pretty good if not for one annoying shady thing.
It randomly turns itself on and starts draining free data. You get 2gb per month.
I only notice it happening when watching youtube and little language icon next to "youtube" changes to something else.
"Oh it seems you ran out of free data, how about upgrade plan and get more data per month."
Don't like that at all. I barely need this, drain maybe 20mb per month of data out of 2gb and it randomly does this?
