Which version of the extension are you using, and did you install it from Addons Mozilla (AMO) or somewhere else?
If you can, please also check the browser console for any errors – that would really help me figure out what’s going on.- Сильно раздражает, когда без моего спроса открываются новые страницы (или вообще браузер запускается, как некоторые программы делают). Возможно это нужно автору, чтобы напомнить о донате - я понимаю. И наверное это правильно. Но я такие расширения удаляю. Слишком много всего, что без моего разрешения и ведома на моём компьютере что-то делает. Я всегда стараюсь от этого избавиться, потому что хочу полностью контролировать свой компьютер.

The only page you saw was the update page, which is a standard practice to inform users about new features and improvements. The extension never performs hidden actions on your computer.
