We had just implemented a messaging system in the Ultimate Reddit Filter extension where our support team can easily reply to our valuable users feedback and inquiries, and due to technical difficulties and the sheer number of feedback we received we decided it was best to ask all users to enable notifications permission so the new messaging system could work as expected.

However, we later reverted this change in the latest update since our users experience is far more important to us, please be sure to update your extension to the latest version to have the permission request gone.
