Extension still works good after all these years. I can't stand the other way as some of my search plugins use the same icon and i can see the name. You have to add more engines manually. Not hard to do that. Edit i figured out how to use post.

Great extension that I've been using for years and that does exactly what I need.

One possible upgrade would be to add the ability to specify a character to replace a space in search terms. Some search engines don't like spaces and replace it by a "+" or a "-" or a "&". Would be great if we could specify this at the search engine level.

Thank you! This missing functionality in Firefox Quantum was preventing me from upgrading. This extension brings it back in a great way. Adding a new search engine is obviously a bit more complex than in the pre-Quantum era but it's a great substitute.

As possible improvements, may I suggest the possibility to add separator lines and folders?

Cool add-on, could You please add a feature to switch search enginess by a mouse scroll (up/down)?

CSB does exactly what it says. Following instructions it's easy to add search engines to the browser and switch between.
Imho a changing search engine button should be a built-in feature of Firefox as it apparently was in the past.
Edit(12/27/18):
Some search engines aren't added automatically to CSB if you install the respective search addon. E.g. if you want to add Ecosia to your search engines you have to use https://www.ecosia.org/search?q={searchTerms} as Search URL. For Yandex(English) https://www.yandex.com/search?text={searchTerms}

In general do a search with the engine you want to add and take note of the URL generated. Every engine uses a different syntax.

This is a great extension to get the old search behaviour back. The shortcut keys are excellent and adding a new search engine is easy.

Context Search と組み合わせると、この Classical Search Bar へのリダイレクトになってしまう所だけが若干使いづらくはなるけど、それでも入れる価値あり。

というか、なんで標準検索バーをこんなにも使いづらくしてしまったのか、そっちの方が理解できないけど。
