There is no need to have news reader in addon! Just bare minimum to get the job done with minimal CPU/RAM.

I have been supporting this for a long while, but noticed that they have started to use AI images in their adds. And I simply cannot support some someone directly for them to exploit artists and create horrible AI slob.

used to work great. not sure if it only works in google or what but it doesn't work at all in mozilla, though it is turned on.

edit: works if i use invert, but i essentially have to add every site to it that doesn't have it's own dark mode feature. in google it worked automatically, so i'm assuming it may be bugged.

Only extension I've felt slow down firefox

used to love this until it stated slowing down every site making it unusable. Now my eyes hurt. Booo

There seems to be come problem currently with this extension whenever i open reddit it runs really slow and firefox shows the message that Dark reader is slowing the browser down with a stop button.

Makes website loading too slow. Almost unusable with modern websites. Dark theming is good.

This has been one of my favourite addons, ever since I found it. Hugely customisable and very handy. But lately it's the cause of lags and stalls. Firefox grinds to a halt just opening Wikipedia articles, for example. But as soon as I disable Dark Reader, everything works fine.

It change the others color like the words or banner, please only change the background to dark and make a slider to let people can decide they want to change others color or not.

many sites crash when this plugin is enabled. Like aliexpress.

Extension not working on Android and the developer doesn't reply e-mails.
On Android the automation simply does not work, be it by time or by location.

Extremely poor compared to chrome version. Will overwrite splash screens, not handle div borders (leading to white bars everywhere), works poorly with most websites. Better than nothing, but not saying much.

It looks great on most websites and really helped with my eyestrain and I haven't had any issues with exessive CPU usage. HOWEVER it does break several website to the point of getting "Access denied" errors that were only resolved once I removed this extension. I will gladly return once this is fixed

É muito bom, mas quebra funcionalidades! Os arquivos e planilhas do GMail, dentro dos e-mail, não abriam ou demoravam MUITO para abrir a janela de baixar quando o Dark Reader estava ligado. Então removi a extensão e parou o problema.

It does what it says it does, however, it increases page load times by an unacceptable amount. Pages load instantly with the extension disabled. With it on, load times are anywhere from 3 to 5 seconds. That doesn't sound like a lot until you're sitting through it on every page load. And those 3 to 5 seconds add up after just a few minutes of browsing. Honestly this extension shouldn't even have to exist. There's no reason Firefox doesn't have a native dark mode like literally every other browser does. I thought this would be the fix, but it comes up a little short for me.

Used to be five stars, but Dark Reader is slowing Firefox down far too much these days... :(
