Ich habe vor Kurzem eine Lizenz von Videodownloader für Firefox gekauft, weil er sehr gut mit Youtube-Videos arbeitet. Man kann sie runterladen und weiter verarbeiten. Aber nach ca. 70 geladenen Video Clips verweigert die Extension weitere Clips runter zu laden. Die Meldung lautet: Sie haben mehr als 100 Video Clips ruter geladen (was nicht der Tatsache entspricht...). Der Hersteller der Extension lässt sich nicht kontaktieren. Das finde ich nicht richtig, besonders, weil beim kauf der Lizenz stand nichts über eine Begrenzung der Downloads.

Works on most sites, but not all. However, is one site where it is the only add-on I've found that will download 1080p and higher versions of videos. Blocked in other add-ons. Also periodically stops working and asks to buy more advanced video software. I did this and found that software didn't work anyplace that the free version doesn't work and is more cumbersome to use. Once the promo for the advanced video shows up have to uninstall and reinstall to use. Sometimes hs just disappeared and needed to reinstall, really for that one site.

That said it is reasonably fast. One other issue is you have to know how many videos you can safely queue as rather than downloading one-by-one or some other number downloads will sometimes fail midstream if too heavy a load and sometimes can resume, sometimes not.

When it works it works pretty well. Faster than most Video downloader Extensions I have used. But it is vanilla. Vanilla in the sense that it won't work in places that don't want it to work. Websites that have video formats out of its scope will make it look lame. There are extensions out there that have a workaround. Works like 55% of the time tho.

No longer works on YT as is the same w/most FF addons! :(

This is suppose to be one of the best downloaders. I beg to differ. On about 1/2 of the time it can't even detect file download links or streaming links even with all ad and script blockers turned off. I have to use "Video DownloadHelper" instead. My old XP64 with FF52.9esr and "Flash Video Downloader 16.3.8 by Paul Saint" is/was better by leaps & bounds, and I am still using my old system. If Paul Saint reads this, I beg you, PLEASE, PLEASE upgrade your old Flash Video Downloader to work on the latest FireFox browser.

It would be nice to have a "best quality" option that would automatically choose the best version to download.
