Giant QR code watermark makes any video basically unusable, I understand needing to be able to monetize a product, but at the cost of a solid 5 seconds I can just use another application- maybe adding a daily limit would be a somewhat reasonable compromise.

It is easy to use, but downloading from YouTube is slow. It should allow to select different levels of resolution. Lower resolution downloads should be free and without QR code.

"This operation requires an external application to be completed." - Yeah, no. Absolutely not. If your add-on makes my virus-scam-spider senses tingling, that's a uninstall.

This used to be an incredible 5 star extension. Sadly over the years it has become increasingly dated and a poor performer. There is an odd, possibly caching issue, where if you close a tab Firefox freezes while Video DownloadHelper does something.

For months, I've been trying to get this to work. Even got the pro version. Used to work fine. If I attach the icon to a tab, It says 'generating link.' Link never appears. What's up?

This used to be a great tool for long time for me but then the developer decided to watermark downloaded videos with an annoying QR code which cover a quarter of the screen at the left bottom of the video.

No idea why it was necessary to do so. You could have easily invented a pro plan which would allow users to download videos of more length or higher quality, but you decided to watermark even the tiniest downloads.

Since then this tool become unable to be used for me sadly. I was lucky enough to find an alternative (which however does not work as smooth as VDH used to be), but at least does not force me to go through a decent paywall.

Yes, you can not spent your work for free and you have costs with this, I understand this, but there are other options generate money with your app or at least made the watermark a bit less big and maybe transparent.

You don't have to say "Okay, I'm going to force users to pay for it".

And as a sidenote, 18,50€ is way too much (even for a lifetime license). I would have spent 6/7€ for it, but not 18,50€. That sum even exceeds some AAA games revenue on Steam! Too greedy sadly.

Again, this used to be an excellent tool for a long time for me. It still detects HLS streams where other extensions simply fail to detect anything at all. Only could recommend it and gave it 5 stars, but with this policy change now, I cannot longer use nor recommend this extension.

I gave 2 stars because of functionality it provided for me once. But I would like to give 0 stars for the recent change to set an annoying QR code watermark.

Doesn't work on Youtube. Unacceptable.
And for most of the websites where it works, it requires an extra app which you have to download externally. ABSOLUTELY unacceptable.
No idea where the positive reviews come from.

Era buenísimo hace años cuando salió y lo usé siempre. Ahora es cierto lo que dicen otros usuarios sobre los defectos de la app. A mí me resulta porque los videos los uso para escuchar y no los bajo para compartir por eso no me preocupa la marca de agua. Pero deja un poco que desear que se haya vuelto paga y aparezca como free.

Used to be a very nice and useful video-downloading add-on but now that it puts a giant qr watermark (that isn't even half-transparent) it became really useless. Having money for your work is great but this looks really awful

je doutais de ces performances, de sa facilité, c'est un produit informatique que je conseil et que chacun doit prendre l'abonnement est a prix compétitif, et il a des outils fabuleux de montage ! je le conseil fortement ! car c'est c'est le TOUT en UN !
