来自 ToG，3 年前I used to love 1 password, however I'm not convinced by the recent move to an entirely browser based solution. Following an update ot the Mac app yesterday, this add-on just stopped prompting for TouchID, and kept asking for my password (which I fail t trust when it asks for it in the browser!). Turns out I had to restart (browser of laptop, o'm not sure, as I rebooted). It would have been nive to see some kind of notification advising this was required, as without it I just thought that the upgrade had broken the add-on.
All seems to be working again now after the reboot, but I find recent 1password developmnent direction disappointing, what with the news that the native Mac app is being dropped in v8.

Sorry to hear you encountered a little trouble after updating.
1Password in your browser requires a secure connection to the desktop app, and it sounds like that connection was broken when the app updated.
That is something we’re definitely working on improving, and is already showing great results in 1Password 8 on all platforms!

- 评分 1 / 5来自 Pjotr，1 天前This is THE BEST password manager there is. It just doesn't work properly on Firefox like it does on Chrome. It hardly ever loads. There is no shortcut to quickly load suggestions. I keep having to launch the app separately, while on Chrome one can use hit CTRL+SHIFT+X and continue.

- 评分 4 / 5来自 Hugvan，20 天前As of today, the add-on doesn't appear as expected in the Firefox toolbar and the normal 1password icon does not appear in form fields (username, password, etc). I now have to tab back and forth between Firefox and the 1password desktop application.

A major annoyance that I can't seem to correct is the interference with Quickbooks online. Very often when I enter the simplest information in QB, the extension prompts me to add the saved address info. The data in QB has absolutely nothing to do with addresses, but this happens multiple times an hour. Quite annoying and frustrating. Could you perhaps add the ability to disallow permission for certain websites? That would save me several headaches.

I have removed it. I have reinstalled it.
As at Nov. 1, 2024 it just will not work anymore.
I CANNOT get it to UNLOCK!!!!
I just keeps popping up with a welcome window which I cannot get past. I do NOT Need to "Add an Account" and when I sign in.. I just get logged into my 1Password account.
The pop up window that may indicate some follow up step is HIDDEN behind a "sidebar" window which cannot be closed!
So I guess it is IMPOSSIBLE to INSTALL the extension, even though it appears in my menu bar with the locked icon -- which, as I say I CANNOT GET TO LOAD so I can input my password and CARRY ON!!!
