- I haven't seen an advert for months! I can't say much else about this as it just works in the background.
What happens? well it won't make ads disappear, but you won't have to watch/hear them - the video goes a grey color and youtube throws an error while their ad isn't being shown to you. - Seeing a gray error panel for 5 seconds certainly beats seeing anoying Ads for 5 seconds.
Youtube shows way too many ads. If only they were more reasonable (for example, if they showed only TEXT ads) then I would be perfectly fine with that and there would be no need for this browser extension. But sadly they just throw noisy video ads in user's faces. I will have none of that
