来自 Sivabhaskar， 8 年前Like numerous other frustrated ABP users have vented out their disappointment here, the new version does NOT seem to be an improvement from the earlier version. I for one, would like to see at the least the following 2 options to be back from the earlier version(s):
1) Display Blockable Items -- When we click the ABP icon when inside of any page, it used to display links in that page that could be potentially blocked)
2) Custom Filters -- As of now, the only option to add custom filters seems to be to "block element" on a page, which does not seem to work 90% of the time. Bring back the old way wherein we can add custom filters by accessing links displayed in the "Display Blockable Items on Page" view. You have to keep in mind not all users are coders and are not that computer savvy as you might expect them to be. Meaning, adding custom filters is pretty difficult for an end user like me without ABP helping me by displaying a portion or all parts of the link (of the element) I would like to block in a page. Like I mentioned earlier, as of now, 90% of the time, new the "block element" feature opens up only an EMPTY BOX that says ADD FILTERS, without any link captured inside of it. It only has the ADD and CLOSE buttons, and the box totally empty without any link.

发布于 8 年前Blockable items list has been replaced by a Developer Tools panel - press Ctrl+Shift+I (Cmd+Option+I on macOS) to open Developer Tools, then switch to the Adblock Plus panel. A more obvious way to open it would be great but sadly currently not possible (we filed a Firefox bug on that a year ago). You might need to reload the page, requests performed before the panel was opened aren't being displayed. As to the user interface, we will keep improving it and adding missing functionality back. - 评分 3 / 5来自 sneakydohboy， 6 天前I have actively used this app for years. It use to be the end all be all for me, now its starting to feel like a real burden. Drew Gooden mentioned it in a video saying something like how adblock blocks all ads except for the adblock ad that you get once a week. I understand we should support financially, but updating and asking for support every week is excessive to say the least. Paying for adblock right now is also tough as Google actively tries to block all adblock tools. People recommend ublock. Going to try it for a bit. Thanks for the years of service, just doesnt seem worth it anymore. I dont even need youtube ads blocked. I just want website spam blocked. But the tool I use is the website spam I want blocked now.
- 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 18762090， 8 天前This comment has NOTHING to do with YouTube (so don't reply mentioning YouTube like you have been doing in most of your replies, which is bullshit and lame), the problem with this product is it randomly resets it's pause/unpause feature for ALL web sites. I will never pay for this addon again. This is totally unacceptable. What a waste of a good idea. You guys should be ashamed of yourself.
- When it works, it's great.. . However, i paid $40 three months ago to be covered for an entire year, and the ads keep coming.
On YouTube, mainly, and i downloaded ABP because of the ridiculous amount of ads on YouTube.
i also can't seem to escape pop-ups on other sites.
What's even more annoying is that i will occasionally get a pop-up FROM ABP with a message telling me to pay MORE money !!
What did i pay $40 for??!

- This used to work ok for quite a while but now deactivates itself. Or as the extension says it is "paused", every single time trying to watch videos on the Youtube website. Even turning it back on and refreshing the page it deactivates itself again every time. Save yourself the headache and stick with the ultimate one that has no issue blocking ads on any webpage and on different browsers.
