However, in some cases we've found that your settings might have changed which is why ads are suddenly appearing. Been using ABP problem-free for years. Until the Chrome Manifest v3 changes started going live, and I've found ABP now quite regularly opens a new tab, steals focus from the site you were reading, and just sits there begging for money.
It's an obvious cash grab, and I'm tired of trying to click a link, and being jump scared by a brand new window from ABP.
Skip ABP, get uBlock Origin. ABP is a dinosaur of the past. It exists only to pay the creators, nothing more. It's not the best, not by any stretch. It's time has passed, there are better options.开发者回应

When we detect YouTube's notification, we will automatically pause Adblock Browser so you can continue watching without disruption. The pause is temporary so if you leave YouTube and return later, it will remain unpaused until the warning is detected again. Но вы написали какой-то бред. Это все неправда, потому что, на самом деле, Youtube обнаруживает ваш плагин, мгновенно его отключает, после чего, автоматически, перезагружает страницу с видео и вот что мы имеем, после этого: ваш плагин выключен, страница перезагружена и Youtube без ограничений показывает свою рекламу в видео.
Вы что, не можете открыть видео на Youtube и проверить работу своего плагина? Зачем писать ложь? Не работает ваш плагин на Youtube. За вашу ложь, снижаю оценку.

Не работает ваша новая стратегия для Youtube!!!!!! После обновления плагина до версии 4.17, временно помогло, но уже через 2 дня все вернулось как и было: Youtube очень легко обнаруживает ваш плагин и мгновенно его отключает.开发者回应

发布于 1 个月前Hi, to get the icon to show on your screen on Firefox, just do the following:
1 - Click the puzzle piece icon, located on the top right of your screen.
2 - Find Adblock Plus.
3 - Right-Click on Adblock Plus.
4 - Select Pin to Toolbar.
5 - The icon now appears on the toolbar.

- F**KING GARBAGE! Adblock plus, now with previously free blocking features made premium and neverending rolling promo messages at the bottom of the add on window, so it's literally an adblocker WITH ADS IN IT. Are you f**king kidding me??? This add on has gone to the dogs!!! F**k you Adblock. F**k you and your premium subscription garbage! There are way better adblocker options than your glorified crap - and they're totally free, so you can just suck it!

The 'Report issue' says "Highlight issue
Use the tools to highlight each ad or hide sensitive info on the screenshot. Highlighting ads will help us fix the issue faster."s. There are no F'ing tools. WTF is wring with this company. I am sure they're taking bribes from sites and ad brokers. Just fing garbage.

I re-enable it, but then when I close/open the browser, the addon is disabled again (only on YouTube)

We believe YouTube will only attempt to show you the wall for a day or two and then we can go back to blocking ads as normal. - This used to be a great add-on, but now at least weekly if not every few days (I haven't kept track) it will randomly open a new tab (stealing my attention) nagging at me to pay for a subscription. On top of that I am finding that I have to disable this add-on for more and more websites from glitches it causes. Websites that don't really even have ad's. Like the most recent one, eBay. I was having problems with eBay loading. And after resetting Firefox, I started disabling add-ons. After I disabled Adblock suddenly eBay loads perfectly, and even faster than it has in a long time. Yes I tried reinstalling it, then I have the same problems again. This add-on has passed it's time. It has become what it was designed to block.
Edit: After using my browser without adblock for a few hours, every site is noticeably faster. Interesting, there was a time when adblock would speed things up... Evidently that has changed. Other reviews have a response about how you initiate that popup when there is an update. Perhaps limit how many times that can pop-up because it happened far more than once a month.开发者回应
