We are indeed currently running a contribution campaign, therefore a contribution popup might appear (it will only happen once per user), but the user can simply close it and continue browsing. Adblock Plus remains a completely free extension and all contributions are 100% voluntary.
If you are seeing the popup constantly, we apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, we would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the extension. 开发者回应

You are probably referring to our Acceptable Ads program.
In this program, websites are permited to show certain ads on the page. However, those ads have to be produced according to a series of criterias (ie. not animated, non-intrusive, cannot block content, etc). Websites have to apply join the program and are judged by a committee. This ensures that all pages follow the criteria established.

However, after using ABP's awesome "hidden" page element blocking feature; ABP, successfully blocked Youtube's 3x's "Your Out" ad blocking program campaign! Outstanding job ABP for thinking ahead, and incorporating the separate block/allow web script element function! I'm sold, and now purchasing.
