7-14-21: last time i tried this you have to download their proprietary (spyware?) program to use their vpn. No thanks. avast has a reputation for very intrusive software that is difficult to uninstall as well. That's why I never use their AV programs.

Was ist der Sinn dieses Add-Ons, wenn es nur den VPN auf dem PC aktiviert? Ich dachte eigentlich, dass man so eine VPN Verbindung über den Browser, aber nicht über das gesamte Netzwerk hat, aber Pustekuchen. Das Plug-In Steuert das Hauptprogramm aufm PC an. Also sammelt wohl nur Daten.

have paid hundreds of dollars on various Avast subscriptions, vpn always shutting down when online! Not happy with the performance!

It doesn't actually connect ot any VPN demanding I install a windows app.

I'm incredibly disappointed. I keep turning on the VPN only for it to turn it self off within a short period of time. What am I paying good money for???
