Als Ubuntu gebruiker (16.04LTS) toch heel veel moeten zoeken om alles geïnstalleerd te krijgen, telkens opnieuw als ik een toepassing wil gebruiken (1 à 2 keer /jaar). Kaartlezer werkt nu, ID-gegevens uitleesbaar, add-on in firefox (57.0 64-bits) geïnstalleerd, maar toch mislukt de aanmeldingstest telkens opnieuw. ook al via Chromium geprobeerd...
Toch waardering voor de volgehouden inspanning om ook Linux-gebruikers te bedienen.

Door de uitleg na deze beoordeling op het juiste spoor gezet en installatie probleemloos afgerond :)

Voor Firefox 57 moet u vanwege de afwezigheid van de benodigde APIs helaas handmatig de browser configureren, zoals uitgelegd op https://eid.belgium.be/nl/aanmelden#7504

Vanaf Firefox 58 zal de add-on de eID-software weer wel kunnen configureren.

A lot of conflicts in connection with VPN, just horrible. I use the app as an expat, but it's gambling with 20 % chance to succeed. And it'S not a key problem of the add on in Firefox but the app itself. To make it work ( sometimes) I have always to turn down my North VPN, restart the computer and hope. Connection a Belgian service like retirement works usually a first time but connecting a foreign service via this app/ card reader is like a 10% chance of success. Everything works incl recognizing the card reader, the ID Card,.... but login fails !. And that means restart everything from beginning. All WIn11 Test on my computer tell me that everything is ok, but the connection fails, , I'm not asked for the pin. I have this problem on 2 different desktops (Win11, Win 10) and one laptop (WIn11) now for over 2 years. Extremely frustrating

Impossible de se connecter. Le service est trop compliqué. On a à faire à des retraités. Si on est en Belgique on peut se faire aider sur place or si on est expatrié (moi depuis 40 ans) c'est impossible avec toutes ces options. Avant on m'adressait un courrier avec une clé d'identification or aujourd'hui il faut acheter des lecteur et après rien ne marche. Je suis très déçu comment vous traitez vos aïeux.
