发布于 3 年前This is because Ubuntu 22.04 LTS ships all browsers using the "snap" system, which doesn't work with the eID, as explained on https://eid.belgium.be/en/faq/why-it-not-possible-use-eid-software-snap-andor-flatpak#7636

- 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13443525， 3 年前My mother recently got a new passport which has a somewhat different format then the old passports. The eID plugin can not read it. I've updated the eID software, the eID viewer and I've the latest version of the eID plugin for firefox installed. Chrome can read it, the eID viewer can read the passport, just firefox cann't. Contacting the BOSA helpdesk is a nightmare. You get redirected to different parties (checking certificates of passport,...) there is no one-stop where you can get support if things doesn't work and still all software comes from BOSA. Time to rethink the way you deliver support!
