This is a powerful, easy, and light-weight add-on. Thank you, Ray, for all the work you have put into creating and maintaining this, not to mention publishing this as open-source where it has such a far-reaching audience that it serves.
****To those with issues, I recommend exporting your config, un-installing the add-on, and then re-installing. Very minimal effort solution that might solve any of the problems you are experiencing.

Reverse mode doesn't work in firefox on linux. Simply blocks anything listed in the rules and ignores the setting.

Doesn't work. Block a site such as "bing.com", visit the site - boom, loads just fine. This add-on used to work in years past but it currently doesn't block anything. Avoid this until the developer fixes his code.

This blocker was good but now blocked pages etc no longer say they have been blocked and it is no good. Also 500 blocked sites is too low a number. In addition there is no way to contact the developer to discuss these sorts of issues. Shame - it was excellent.

Works as intended. Add-on is designed for advanced users so the UI isn't the prettiest.

For those who are having trouble getting sites blocked, make sure Firefox is up-to-date and that you click on the Save Options button if you are on the Block Site :: Options page.

It simply does not work. Sites show as blocked but loads them anyway .Useless

It worked for a while (but after clicking the link in the notification that it's blocked, it was possible to see the site....) but now it doesn't. Like it never existed. I've blocked all possibble addresses for facebook and I can still see the pages. I don't have any schedules, I don't have any additional settings; only as many facebook domains as possible.

Tried on 9gag.com, site is shown as long as you don't click on a link on the right.
Tried on imgur.com, site shows as long as you don't change article.

I think that the issues some people have are because you have to press "save options" in order to save your settings. Works great for me.

Trash, doesn't even block websites

It works exactly as Intended for youtube but freezes when I open Twitter.
I assume this is a glitch but for now 3 stars due to that.

It wasn't created with the user in mind. The usability is terrible, the configuration page is counter-intuitive. It's as if somebody actively tried to make it as bad as possible. It doesn't have to be like that...

On peut facilement Activer ou Désactiver l'extension avec le bouton même si le compte n'est pas connecté.
Un enfant de 10 ans saurait le faire.
Donc cette extension ne sert à rien !!

USELESS extension!
One can easily Enable or Disable the extension with the button even if the account is not logged in.
A 10 year old child could do it.
So this extension is useless!!

Stop working as of the last update May 22 2024. Before that it was working fine. Doesn't block sites anymore.
