Blogs Are Back is a companion extension for blogsareback.com that makes following blogs effortless.

Features

• Feed Discovery — Automatically detects RSS/Atom feeds on every page. A badge shows available feeds, and you can subscribe via popup or right-click menu.
• Direct Fetching — Fetches feeds locally in your browser, bypassing CORS. No proxy server means your reading stays private.
• Readable Extraction — Extracts clean article text using Mozilla's Readability library.

Two Modes

Basic Mode (default): Lightweight feed discovery. No background activity.

Featured Mode: Full experience with desktop notifications, badge counts for unread posts, and configurable background checking.

Privacy

• Feeds fetched directly in your browser
• Data stored locally
• Only syncs subscriptions with blogsareback.com
• Never collects browsing history

The "Access all websites" permission is required solely to fetch feeds from any blog you follow.
