- An extension of this kind is very much needed. Many thanks to the developer for making it.
I still remember (and use) the wonderful `ExportHTMLFolder' of yore. This one can eventually follow in its footsteps. Because at last you can export only the bookmarks folders that you want. You choose them in the menu that pops up when you click the icon. This is nice and practical.
This extension retains the names of the folders and bookmarks exactly as they are. If you are like me and often change the names of bookmarks, you will appreciate this.
Alas, after the export the separators are not separators any more. They are turned into a bookmark with the ugly default no-favicon icon, and you have to manually add every new separator where you previously had them and delete the pseudo-bookmark that was added automatically. Very annoying, time-consuming, and it takes a lot away from this otherwise very useful extension.
But let's be positive: The new pseudo-bookmarks are indeed bookmarks where the URL is "data:". And you could add a name like "-------", which then can serve as a separator of sorts. The ugly icon remains, though. And this also is very time-consuming and far from being a good solution.
A minor detail: If you move the icon into the Overflow menu, its name becomes this: "Free Export BookmarksOpen the export bookmark..." and then it has to break off because the menu is only as wide as it is....
So: Kudos to the developer for making this, and let's hope that he will add some polish. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 17021633, 4 年前I'm surprised that more people aren't using this. It's simple and easy to use and gives you the ability to selectively save only the folders and bookmarks that you want.
