    V3 of Buttercup for browsers drastically improves how the extension integrates with web pages, allowing for easier logins and more login form styles recognised. It now supports nested iframes, OTP submissions and persisted login state between updates.

    This new major release does require the Buttercup desktop application to be installed - you can find this at https://buttercup.pw.

    We've updated our core library to improve the performance and stability of Buttercup, especially while using Dropbox or Google Drive to connect your vaults. We've made some other internal changes to improve our upcoming transition to our new vault format, which will happen automatically over time.
