I shouldn't have to sign into capital one in another tab to then use eno to get a virtual card. The point of the extension so you can do a one click option for this. I so loved being able to utilize this more

"This addon has effectively been nothing more than a way to log in to the Virtual Cards page of the Capital One site for MANY versions now. It does not create new Virtual Cards and does not allow you to lock or unlock existing Virtual Cards. This is all but useless for anything other than getting you to the Capital One page that allows you to see your existing Virtual Cards. This addon has been the one and only way to create new Virtual Cards since their inception (you can't do that on the website), but now even this addon doesn't do that." When Eno stopped working a year or so ago, Capital One blamed Mozilla and I am sure Mozilla blamed Capital One. I wish they could work together to fix the current issue.
I tried the solution mentioned by Crix, but it didn't work. Not sure what adblock is or how to disable it. - 评分 1 / 5来自 Crix,3 年前when it works it works, but then it just breaks for no reason and you can utilize it. They just need to have this functionality on their own website or app, because this is annoying

I'm happy to say that I installed the extension and it does in fact work. I'm running Firefox 93.0 (64 bit) on a desktop computer that's only a year old with Windows 10 Home for an OS. I downloaded Eno ver. 3.6.1
I will admit, I can see why some may have had difficulties in using the extension. It seems to have an issue with signing in to a Capital One account directly from the Eno extension. However, here's what I found to work for me. I log in to my Capital One account first through the Capital One home page (as I would if I was going to check account transactions for example.) Once I'm signed in, I then click on the Eno extension icon in the upper right hand corner of the Firefox browser. Eno will usually recognize my account at that point. From there, I go to the merchant of choice, navigate to where I would enter my credit card info, click on the Eno icon if it's not already open, then click "Use". Eno guides me through creating a new virtual number like it's supposed to. No issues.
If my Captial One account times out on it's own, Eno is also logged out of my account. This is by design and keeps my account secure. However, attempting to log back in to Eno can be finicky. Here's 2 work-arounds that consistently work for me. Right-click on the Eno icon and select "Manage Extension." Disable Eno by clicking on the little toggle switch. Then re-enable. If that doesn't work, disable Eno again and close the browser. Now re-open browser. Log in to your Capital One account next before enabling Eno. After you're logged in, enable Eno from the Add-ons Manager in Firefox (if the Add-ons Manager tab is not already open, click on the "More" button which is 3 horizontal lines in the upper right corner, then click on "Add-ons and themes").
To reiterate, I have found these 3 basic procedures to be very helpful:
1. Sign in to your Capital One account first before attempting to use Eno.
2. Know how to disable and re-enable Eno. Use as needed.
3. Close browser and then re-start browser as needed.
I also noted that some reviewers expressed difficulty with the Eno extension slowing down internet browsing. I have not experienced that yet. However, disabling the extension can be done easily when it's not needed to speed things up if necessary.
I feel that this extension is worthwhile to try downloading and using. The extension is pretty intuitive. The settings are simple and clear. The extension will walk you through the process of creating a virtual card number in just a couple steps. Eno even automatically adds the card number in the appropriate field on some sites. If it doesn't add it automatically, just left-click the copy icon next to the virtual number and then right-click in the card number field on the merchant site and click "paste."
Another nice feature is that when you create a virtual card number, you can set a time limit on how long that number will be active.
I'm quite happy I took the leap and gave it a try. I don't always like to try new things as there's a learning curve and I often don't feel I have the time. However, dealing with a fraudulent charge on a credit card also takes time (this happened to me recently.) Since the virtual card feature has the potential to protect my main account and physical card number, the little bit of time it takes to use Eno is worth the time it saves in the long run. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Mark,3 年前EDIT: As promised, updating to the 5 stars this extension deserves. Thanks for fixing the login bug on Firefox, CapOne devs!
So bummed, this extension is/was fantastic, but with newer FIrefox releases it's impossible to use. As dozens of other reviews state, it's no longer possible to sign into the extension. It pops open another browser window for you to authenticate to CapitalOne, but there's no communication between windows so the extension will sit there forever with the 'waiting to sign in' animation. If you close the window it opened, the extension drops back to the 'login required' state. It's a never-ending loop so it's now impossible to use Eno. If they ever fix this I'll adjust right back to 5 stars because I *love* this virtual card feature.
I did try disabling all other extensions thinking perhaps Privacy Badger or uBlock were killing some piece of functionality, but even in a 'clean' environment it won't work correctly. The *only* way you can use Eno at this time is if you open a separate tab and sign into the Capital One site, then you can go back to whatever storefront you had open and Eno will work. Definitely not ideal, you should not have to open a separate tab and sign into Capital One every time you want to use the Eno plugin. - 评分 3 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 17088672,3 年前When it works its fantastic. Sad thing is, half the time I can't login. Seems like each Firefox update breaks something and the extension needs to be re-installed. Once you get around that problem, its really nice to have virtual cards.

1: The pop takes forever to figure out if I'm logged in or not. 70% of the time I need to login to Capital One in anther tab than toggle Eno on/off trying to get it authorized.
2: When I'm on the page where I need input credit car info the Eno pop up does not render my virtual cards 90% of the time. I have to open another tab with the same URL where there is no credit card input form to get the Eno to load the virtual cards for the site. Then I have to use copy/paste from that tab to the tab where I have to input CC info. NOTE: It does work on a few site. I assume some HTML code is messing with how Eno trying to figure if there is form or not.
I suggest your team include testing on slow networks i.e. mobile hotspots vs. corporate fibers.
If you fix those I will come back and give 5 star if not i just go back saving CC info in a text file and copy paste when i need them. Time is #1 PRIORITY when I'm using tools! - 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 17084432,3 年前Does not work with Firefox. It used to be wonderful before it was changed. Will use another credit card now for virtual card numbers. Capital One was better than Citi Bank for virtual card numbers but I will go back to Citi Bank now if compatible with Firefox.

- 评分 1 / 5来自 JK,3 年前This add on doesn't work anymore. Many months ago it stopped remembering your login details.
Now in the last month or so, the popup login window doesn't even log you into the eno window. It just opens your virtual cards. If you want to create a new virtual card, you can't. Whatever they did to change it, they ruined it. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Clarissa Hope,3 年前

- 评分 1 / 5来自 Kotts,3 年前This WAS one of the most useful add-ons I have in Firefox. However, currently it is utterly broken. When you attempt to log in, rather than launching the app to generate or use a virtual card, the login takes you to the card management webpage, while the app waits for the login.
- 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 14399345,3 年前Failed to work, so uninstalled it after multiple tries - expected better from CapitalOne since have great service otherwise :-(
- 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 14765952,3 年前This used to work great. Now it hangs up or takes me to existing virtual numbers, not allowing generation for a new number. So far this happens only on Firefox (Mozilla). However, it works on Chrome, at least, so far. I try to use Firefox as it is supposed to protect privacy, while Chrome is supposedly a spy machine, but I have been told by Capital One IT people (more than one) that Eno is more compatible with Chrome; although, they were careful not to promote it over Firefox; they were simply stating as a fact.
- 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 17072526,3 年前Like everyone else, this used to work and now it pops up a login window to only manage your virtual cards, the little eno window just spins waiting for login. since everyone is experiencing this issue, very disappointing they obviously did no testing of add-on for firefox. Using latest 3.6.1 version.
