Every time I start Waterfox/Firefox I keep getting the same notification at bottom right of screen for the same exact emails for the 10th time. It keeps doing this unless you open the email or otherwise mark it as Read. Isn't it should only show the notification one time only, regardless of whether you read it, or there should be an option to ensure that behavior.
I have "Previewing marks as Read" enabled and "Repeat notification"and "Show notifications for older" both disabled with 30 second polling for Primary category for my Google Apps gmail account with the latest v22.2.2.1 for Waterfox on Windows 10 x64.

I saw someone rate the addon 1 star because apparently it hides functionality behind a paywall - er, not if all you want is a convenient way to keep an eye on how many new emails you have, and a convenient, one-click way to open your inbox. In that case, it's free and convenient and does what it says it does.
I can't see how somebody would rationally rate this a 1-star app. I rated it 4/5 as I did just have to reinstall it after it spontaneously decided to stop working. A 1-2 minute reinstall has it working at 100% again. - 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 18557839，3 个月前Hiding functionality behind paywall.

None of the troubleshooting steps including completely different operating systems on different hardware solve the issue, it's just fundamentally broken.
