Ich habe seit vielen Jahren mit den alten Clippings gearbeitet (Ctrl Alt V), die mit den neuen Firefoxversionen aber nicht mehr laufen. Als dann die neuen Clippings kamen, freute ich mich sehr.

Aber sie funktionieren nicht: Ich kann keine Clippings erfassen !!! Ich kann zwar eines erstellen mit Namen, Inhalt und Kürzel, aber ich kann sie nirgends abspeichern. Warum ist das so? Wie kann ich Clippings erfassen und speichern ??

    Very useful. One recent issue though, but not sure if it's an addon ore a Firefox issue. I had Clippings assigned to the addon hotkey ALT-C for years in "Manage Extension Shortcuts", and it always worked. In the past few weeks this stopped working. Assigning letters other than C works as expected, it just doesn't work with ALT-C at all anymore. Not sure why.

    According to Google Translate, you wrote that Clippings Manager keeps minimizing itself on Ubuntu.

    In Clippings Manager, click Tools on the toolbar and then select Minimize When Inactive to toggle the setting on or off. This setting exists in Linux only and is a workaround for the window always being on top of other Firefox windows. You can opt to turn the setting back on when you need to switch between windows so that it doesn't get in the way.

    In an upcoming new version of Clippings, an icon on the Clippings Manager status bar will make it easier to quickly turn the setting on or off in just one click.

    Pretty good, thank You. 6.5.4 has some issues:
    - does not search inside content, only title
    - go to a category, insert clipping. It is not added into that category but to the bottom of the list requiring drag&drop
    - it does not remember last window size, requiring resizing of the window
    - after inserting new clipping, the cursor should be in the title field, it is not, requiring Tab key

    An optional remain on top setting would be nice. I useful tool to have and is available on Thunderbird.

    A must have extension. One of the first that I install on a new setup. Unfortunately in the last couple of weeks my clippings have quit working on twitter ("X") The text is placed in the reply field but not recognized as text and unable to submit. Not sure if the problem is with clippings, firefox, or X.

    This is an issue with Twitter/X. I was able to reproduce the issue on an older version of Firefox (102.15 ESR).

    EDIT: Issue is confirmed with the latest release of Clippings (6.5.2.1). This will be fixed in a minor update.
