(edit) Using the 'Add Custom Search' widget from the context menu is by far the easiest way to add new search engines to ContextSearch. Is there a reason you're adding engines by hand? If so, how would you suggest making it less cumbersome?

Which method of adding engines do you find cumbersome? Are you adding new engines via the context menu or by typing them in by hand in Options?

Habe eine eigene Suchmaschine erfolgreich hinzugefügt, die Einstellungen werden aber, trotz Speichern, leider nicht behalten. Alle Felder sind nach Neustart von Firefox wieder leer.

MULTIPLE SITES (not only "whole web" - as Google & the likes) search engines AT ONCE
makes this add-on UNIQUE !

Besides, it is HIGHLY CUSTOMIZABLE : provides
• different KINDS OF OF MENUS (Context/Quick/Toolbar/Sidebar) to launch searches
• many UI CONFIGURATIONS OPTIONS to fit your likes

Just a [very] few points to note :
• too many options (time to master) ?
• missing tool-tips & not always detailed enough ones...
