- 评分 4 / 5来自 Karnaa，6 年前Thanks a lot of this addon.. Have been dying for this one to be present in firefox to move away from chrome. I have around 50-60 such custom search urls and this is a saviour!!
Like everybody says, hate typing ms everytime. Is it possible to customize these 2 chars also? Is it possible to reduce it to one letter and/or allow it to be customizable?
Update: https://superuser.com/a/7374/364519 - Found that all you need to do to have similar custom search urls for firefox, is to create bookmarks with %s in the place - just like in chrome!!! Would be great if this is called out in the addon, as i have been longing for the same to switch to firefox.开发者回应
发布于 6 年前Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately limitation from Firefox side does not allow dynamic customization to use any other char/text instead of "ms" (any change will impact all users).

I have small request if possible. I am using this app for searching car parts in many shops with multi search.
It is possible to add keyword 'all' for searchng in all defined engines? for example:
ms shop1,shop2,shop3 keyword - now I use this
ms all keyword - that would be better when using lot of search engines in multi-search mode
One more suggestion - for sure harder to make:) It is possible add column "category" to search engine definition.
sample use:
ms tires keyword - searching in multiple search engines that have in category column 'tires'
ms bearing keyword - searching in multiple search engines that have in category column 'bearings'

发布于 6 年前Thanks for the feedback. There is a new version which now allows searches based on 'category'.
To search using all search engines please use 'ms @ keyword'.
To search with search engines with one category use 'ms @tires keyword'.

发布于 7 年前Hi, Please note that there should be a space after "ms" else Firefox will not trigger this add-on. Please type "ms duck test" to get the desired result.
Note:
If there are no custom search engines starting with "d" other than duckduckgo then you can simply enter "ms d test" and you'll get the same result as if you have typed "ms duck test". - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13594294，7 年前Super useful! I wish firefox had this built-in.
A couple suggestions:
- would it be possible to remove the "ms" prefix? (I suspect this might be a firefox limitation)
- it would be nice to also have a {searchTerm[0]}, {searchTerm[1]} etc syntax. In some cases splitting by word would be very useful.开发者回应
发布于 7 年前Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately "ms" prefix cannot be removed due to limitation from firefox. Also you should soon see new version with split search functionality.
