great, I cannot stand the large film minuatures youtube makes, this extension helped me to make them smaller with more icons on the home page

Since YouTube changed to 3 massive thumbnails per row, this extension has been the answer. It lets you set the thumbnail size and number of thumbnails per row, or just revert to an older YouTube layout. Love it.

This works... But only for the default layout (the 2017 one). Changing any settings, does absolutely nothing and no amount of refreshing will change the layout to the one you've selected.

Lots of the custom UI just doesn't work anymore :(

Good but needs a little bit of graphic design tuning. Also I still see videos made after the year I set YouTube to which kills the aesthetic a lot.

so this is pretty good with a lot of the designs back to the good old classic youtube but a couple problems that occurred were
in the late 2009 edition there is a lot of overlay with the buttons such as the notifications button, create button, subscriptions and history buttons overlay onto the youtube layout
the search bar is broken and needs fixing
ok another issue i encountered was that in the same old design the dislike button is cut in half

that is all the current issues i have but if i encounter any more ill make sure to include them in this review :)

its shit it dosent change the search bar its buggy and much more

was working very well up until recently where it seems to have broken my search bar so it no longer does the little predictive search thing or show my previous searches

The most recent youtube UI updates have REALLY been grinding my gears, so I found this beauty and OH MAN has it been a breath of fresh air. I love the ability to peer into the past with the original yt layouts as well as simply flashing back a couple years into the past for more modern yet still beloved layouts. It's everything I ever could have asked for and then more. My only complaint is that the layout seems to be just a *little* broken in very small ways- buttons on the side bar have buttons missing and offcentered text in the 2019 layout, and sometimes when switching to an older layout the video details, comments, and recommended videos simply don't load at all. I'm also using the addons "Youtube search fixer", Sponsorblock, and an adblocker, so it's possible that this could simply be because some of the addons are not fully compatible, but I'm not totally sure of this yet. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing future updates! It's definitely an addon to keep your eyes on, especially if you're like me and you hate the minimalist, modernist UI that every website and their mother seems to be adopting these days and pushing without bothering for any form of user feedback and critique.

The custom Tube addon is broken in some layout versions because the YouTube logo is turquoise. Why is that? please fix this thing ok?!
