When you set the extension to do so, it processes all the data loaded on given website, but will never transmit or save this data in any way. No data is saved to the user's computer besides a list of rules and user settings: which names to replace on which websites, and other related settings. The user setting page has a "clear all data" button that removes all data Deadname-B-Gon stores on the user's computer. Again, no user data is ever uploaded or transmitted anywhere else on the internet. The extension does not have any functionality besides name replacement, and does not use any external code which could trigger additional functionality.
