This extension has a number of negative reviews which gave me some pause but knowing that the author penned 'SponsorBlock' gave me some trust. Reading those reviews it looks like they are primarily misconceptions due to not reading the description written by the extensions author. Keep in mind these two extensions are being written by a college student and this is a project he plans to continue developing outside of college.
The settings available give you a lot more control over your Youtube pages aesthetic by granting editing capability to the uniformity of each videos thumbnail and title. The different case types being options is a fantastic idea and I love having the ability to flip through the different settings and seeing how it makes me look at my home page differently.
