发布于 8 年前Basically, this is true, however, if you *really* do not want to whitelist my host, you can actually paste in a configuration file and skip the automatic configuration fetch. However, if you do this, you will not get updates.
For example, you can fetch a configuration file from toolsofourtools.org/detrumpify2/v2/
Then go to the options menu, click show config, then click edit, then paste in the config, the click lock.
Now that config will remain locked in place until you change it. I hope that makes sense.

Even besides the obvious political side of this, the addon itself is well made with totally unexpected options that go above and beyond and are totally appropriate for the addon's target demographic.

Sadly, options to wipe out references to anything other than the authors chosen words and pictures renders this add-on useless for anyone who doesn't share his right wing agenda.

发布于 4 年前Thanks for the review. I'm not sure what you're talking about, but it is possible to change both the search anchors and the replacement phrases. The format is described in detail on the website. I admit, it's not trivial for people who aren't used to editing JSON files, but it's also not very difficult.
