来自 gaveitatry， 6 年前At the time of this review, this is the best page translator extension available for Firefox 57+ (although there is a close second). I have already tried all of the other ones. Jeremy Schomery is really hard working and dedicated to perfection and excellence. When I made some perfectly reasonable feature requests, he quickly added them within a day or two. This extension gives you the option to translate using the same tab or by creating a new tab. It gives you more than one translator engine to choose from. Let me recommend Bing, as Google sometimes thinks that a page is already in English. This extension give you the option to add 'Translate with Bing', 'Translate with Google', or both to the context menu so that you can just right-click a page and translate it right away. There are additional options to customize and tweak this extension, but I think that they are way above my head. The important thing is that this extension does everything that I wanted and which other extensions wouldn't. If I could change one thing, it would be to make it so that the translated page returns back to the original text with only one click of the back button. Right now, you have to hit the back button twice to return to the original page.

- 评分 2 / 5来自 Spiritwarrior， 2 年前The inability to use the instant pop up window on selected text (that disappears when deselecting text) rather than clicking an icon and getting a popup window is the main reason I don't use Firefox for the majority of my internet use. I want to be able to click and go.

- Good:
Getting translated results in a popup window after clicking a button near selected text is a good UI style.
Hassle:
It doesnt save window sizes or adapt to the translated text size.
It doesn't have an option to save the source language (such as Detect), which means more clicks to get a proper translation.
Bad:
In Private Firefox windows it uses any Google signin session from a non-Private window that you may have open - so, it violates the very reason for having a Private window. - 评分 4 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 17277496， 4 年前Please someone answer me, how it possible to use like the screenshots that used by developer of this extension; can sb teach me to use it like that? - Was surprised that only 10K users are availing the benefit of this add-on.
There seem to be 2 options to translate text.
(a): click on the icon on the right side of the tool bar. This translates the whole page (simply converts all foreign text to native text without leaving the page) and the google translate option box appears on the top. From this option box one can simply go back to the 'original' text without leaving the page.
(b) : Select text and click on the popup small icon over the text to see the translation in a popup window. One can hear the pronunciation if needed.
