The lack of tracking is reassuring, and the way they are using their ad revenue is fantastic.

I also have DuckDuckGo installed, as well as Startpage (in case I need Google results for some reason), but I don't generally find myself needing those search engines, as Ecosia results are very good.

If Google did use part of its profit the same way Ecosia does our planet could be a better place!

I like that they donate 80% of their revenue to plant trees and fight climate change and also provide income for people in developing countries.
I also don't like the fact that Google has a 90% market share when it comes to searches. So this is a win.
