In addition to letting you connect to ExpressVPN from within your browser, the Firefox add-on also blocks WebRTC leaks, helps you spoof your geolocation, and uses HTTPS Everywhere to direct you to HTTPS versions of the sites you visit. Hope this clears things up a bit.
