This page informs you of the policies implemented into FABUI (herein referred to as "the Extension") regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information the Extension processes while in use.

The Extension uses your Personal Information strictly for improving the usage of FurAffinity (furaffinity.net and its subdomains, herein referred to as "the Site"), from which it collects your Personal Information from. By using the Extension, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

In simple words: Here's what the Extension will and won't do with your data while you're using FurAffinity.

Information Collection and Use

While using the Extension, FABUI will analyze the data contained in the Site's pages and will collect from the Site only the information required for its functionality. Such information may include, but is not limited to: Your username, your avatar, your submission folders and your notifications (Which may include, but is not limited to: Submissions, journals, favorites, watchers, comments, shouts and notes).

The information collected will be used strictly for: A) In the case of the "Notifications" feature, alert you of its presence and present it in a more visually appealing way; B) In the case of the "Uploader" feature, provide you with more options for completing the current task, or; C) In the case of the "Filtering" feature, remove undesirable content from the page which you have manually inputted into the Extension.

Lastly, by using the "Contact Developer" option listed in the Extension's settings, the Extension will collect some of your Browser Information, which includes your User Agent and the Extension's version. This information will be used strictly for troubleshooting purposes and will not be disclosed to any third parties other than the developer, which will obtain it through a note in the Site's system.

In simple words: FABUI will collect only what's necessary for it to work, depending on which features you have enabled. For example, if you have "Notifications" enabled, FABUI will analyze your notification pages on FurAffinity and extract the notification information from there, and save it so you can see it faster through the toolbar button.

Also, if you send me a message through "Contact Developer", you'll automatically send a note to me through FurAffinity and I'll be able to see the Browser and the Extension version you're using. But don't worry, that's just to help me identify the problem you're having faster.

Data Logging and Disclosure

While using the Extension, some of the aforementioned information will be logged for easier access by the Extension itself. Such information may include, but is not limited to: Notifications regarding submissions, journals, favorites, watchers, comments, shouts and notes. The Extension will also log upload information for backup purposes for future use in case of failure until it is no longer needed (until the uploading task is complete), in which such information will be immediately deleted.

All of the aforementioned data will be logged strictly in the End User's Local Browser Storage and will not be disclosed, shared, sold or accessed by any third parties, including the Site or the developer of the Extension itself. The logged data will be accessible only by the Extension and the End User for their own personal use and privacy, lest they opt by manually exporting such data through the option available in the Extension's settings and disclosing it to any third parties themselves.

In simple words: All of the data FABUI collects will be stored in your Browser and in your Browser only. It won't be sold or shared with anyone, only you have access to that data.
