I used Fakespot constantly for Amazon for a long time, and have always appreciated that service. And I don't mind developers wanting a revenue stream, however the idea that they want permission to scan every URL I visit, basically tracking my internet activity? Ridiculously intrusive and a deal breaker for me. No way I download this extension.

We require these permissions because we analyze hundreds of thousands of Shopify web stores. Other popular shopping extensions such as Honey and Rakuten require the same permissions because they also have to work on many websites.
