Should work on all operating systems on the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome. Requires Netflix account to watch the content. This is not an official Netflix extension and we are in no way affiliated with Netflix. This extension was created for you to quickly and easily find what you're looking for.
This extension is open source, the source can be found in the 'About' tab of the extension. Credit given where credit is due.
3 additional notes:
Note #1: type in a period/full stop (a "." character) in the search that comes up when you click on the toolbar button in order to get a complete list of all the genres, or type in some letters from the genre you are looking for for a shorter list.
Note #2: if you don't want to bother installing an extension just visit the website http://www.findflix.kiwy.io/ and you can use the web version of FindFlix instead of the extension version. This works in any modern web browser, as a bonus, even browsers which do not support extensions. The web version is a little slower than the extension, however.
Note #3: There is another similar addon called "Netflix Super Browse", version 1.3 of which you can find on Mozilla Addons for Firefox as an experimental addon, but it is no longer being updated for Firefox, has a shorter, less complete list of categories than FindFlix, causes layout problems with the Netflix website, and the current version, 1.5, is only made for Chrome and you have to pay money for the current version. By contrast, the current version of FindFlix is available on both Firefox and Chrome and is free software and will remain free, and FindFlix is also stable. You can try Netflix Super Browse anyway at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/netflix-super-browse/ if you want to experiment with it and compare them for yourself, but I suggest FindFlix instead.
