GenizahSearch Image Helper enables the Fragment Puzzle feature on genizahsearch.com — a visual tool for assembling physical joins of Cairo Genizah manuscript fragments. The extension fetches manuscript images from the National Library of Israel's IIIF server (iiif.nli.org.il) using your browser's own network connection, since the NLI blocks datacenter IPs. Once fetched, images are processed server-side (background removal) and cached so future users get instant loads without the extension. The extension only activates on genizahsearch.com and only fetches from iiif.nli.org.il — no data is collected or transmitted elsewhere.
