Exactly what I was looking for, which was a way to add Google Scholar as one of my search bar options. Wish Mozilla had a way to do that without needing to go through an add-on, but they don't seem to (as of this review's writing on 1-22-24).

Works as expected!

I expect this become one of Firefox's default search engines supported officially by Mozilla.
